During the Song Dynasty, there was a farmer. He wished that his rice crop would grow faster, but instead, as the days passed, the rice did not seem to grow. So he asked himself, “What can I do to make the rice grow faster?”.
He considered and considered until he arrived at a solution: to pull every rice plant a little bit from the soil. Without delay, he went straight to the field and uprooted the rice. Looking around, the rice in the field has grown a lot. He went home happily. However, the rice in the field was dried up and hard by the next morning.

This story shows that every living thing must follow its own life cycle, however fast or long it takes. Indeed, haste makes waste.
