Where do the lessons take place?
During the current pandemic, all courses will be online. After the pandemic, courses will be available online and in person.
Are the courses suitable for all ages?
The lessons and courses are intended for adults – ages of 16 and above.
How can I register to the course?
You can register for courses by filling out the application form and pay on the website course page.
Can I register for partial course?
No, we do not offer partial courses. Each course is designed to be taken from start to finish.
If I have purchased a course and I would like to cancel my payment, is it possible？
You can cancel your course, but the refund policy is as follows:
a. Up to one week before the start of the course – full refund.
b. Within one week of the start of the course – a full refund with 100NIS charged for registration and administration.
c. Within the two weeks of the start of the course – a 40% refund of the full cost.
d. After two weeks of the start of the course – NO refund.
Will I get a receipt upon the payment?
Yes. Once your payment is approved you will receive a receipt by email.
Will I get a certificate after completing the course?
Yes, EWCC will give you a certificate stating you finished the course.
Do I need to purchase a textbook and a workbook for the course?
Yes, we will recommend the book required for each course.
What is “Chinese Corner”?
Every week (except the holidays) we will have a session for practicing speaking which we call “Chinese Corner”. This is a voluntary, but highly recommended time. You will improve your pronunciation, learn every-day expressions and expand your vocabulary.
In addition, students in the Chinese Corner will participate in some Chinese cultural activities to learn and understand Chinese culture.
Is there a test at the end of the course?
Yes. There will be an exam at the end of the course. A pass score of 60% is required to move to the next level.
Can I record the lesson?
No. It is not permitted to record the lessons by video or audio. If you have a problem keeping up in class please contact your teacher.
