I signed up because I wanted to learn Chinese for several years now, and suddenly I saw this free trial.
If I wouldn't try - I would never guess how much fun it is. I was sure that I wouldn't remember anything, that it would stress me out, but LaoShi Joshua made the process so fun and easy, that you won't believe it - I was able to remember almost everything. This teacher is just a magician. All the patience he has for the students, the pleasant atmosphere he creates in class - makes me feel comfortable asking anything, and even though we were a few students, he made us all feel special. He even understood all of my hesitant questions! That is a great talent 😊

I've finished a level 1 course with Simon, very enjoyed the class and was positively surprised. Although it was a group course, the teacher had a personal attitude towards every student in the class, so I knew what subjects i should practice more and pay attention to.
I could communicate with Simon outside the lesson and he always answered and explained things i wanted to improve.
He teached us not only the grammar, but also explained about the Chinese culture and traditions. This made the material very interesting and gave me more motivation to study.

My name is Leah Borovoi. I am from Israel and I have planned to do this language course since a very long time. I tried to study Chinese twice on different platforms, but usually I dropped after the second lesson because the language was too difficult for me.
I almost dropped after the forth lesson at this course two, but the teacher, Wenke Zhang, was very enthusiastic, supportive and pushed me to continue.

The classes were well prepared and this time I could really see the progress. I liked the mixture of listening, reading, grammar and speech. It was both fun and helpful. Our small group consisted of people from different cultural background and that made it even more interesting. The group was supportive, helpful and nice to each other. I’m happy that I had an opportunity to meet these people.
By the end, I got 185 (out of 200) on the final HSK Level 1 exam and wish to continue to the Level 2 soon.

I’ve just finished a course with Zhang Wenke. He is very patient and attentive, always explaining things down to the smallest of details and unique parts of the grammar. Always was happy to give extra information and share his knowledge.

The course combines studying modern Chinese along with understanding the traditions and culture of China. Highly recommend to anyone who wants to study Chinese

ממליצה בחום על הקורס סינית במרכז east west.
התעניינתי בקורס סינית למתחילים, הציעו לי להירשם לקורס מבוא קצת. הגעתי לשיעור ללא ציפיות אבל מהר מאוד הבנתי שמדובר בקורס רציני.
זכיתי במורה מקצועי ששמו Mr.Zhang wenke. מדובר במורה חייכן, קשוב, אדיב ואכפתי שמשקיע את הלב והנשמה בכל שיעור (ואחריו), מורה שמעורר סקרנות ומשאיר טעם של עוד.
כמובן שמשם המשכתי לקורס הבסיסי המלא, שהספקנו בו גם ללמוד את השפה (קרוא וכתוב ושיעורי לשון), אלא גם מעט עם המנהגים הסיניים.
חייבת לציין שבאופן אישי, בעקבות לחצים במקום העבודה היה לא לא קל ולא פעם ויתרתי אבל המורה לא ויתר עליי. הוא דאג להיות איתי בקשר אחרי השיעור, דאג שאדביק את הקצב ודאג גם לשיעור פרטי במידת הצורך.
לסיכום רק אומר שאני ממליצה בלב שלם על הקורסים. בין אם זה לצורך מקצועי או לשם תחביב והעשרה, זה בדיוק המקום לעבור קורס שכזה.
